Flying objects in religious texts - Bible (Old Testament)

Looks like apart very direct painting and sculpture we have also some other clear “visuals” of flying objects - and they are stated in the Bible… I was reading them always from point of potential “hi-tech” technology, rather much more advanced then we have now, but only reading at once more & more examples I’ve stacked how indeed they look like, obviously describing very “material” and solid flying objects vs some "energy" used by god might forces.

Or maybe Klaatu's painting visualisations from past showed me in more plastic way what they are talking about :]

Many quotation I found describe a sort of (probably) metallic craft in the sky that make takes off, lands,spins,or hovering. I wonder how many of even more directed description has been lost for ever as we do base whole bible on some sort of documents that anyway has been gathered under years after real happening.

As the author of “the Greatest Deception” says “ It appears cloud-like during the day; glows brightly at night, and can display an array of brilliant flashing lights, beams and rays. It projects beams and fires projectiles that do serious damage to large armies, and can alter terrestrial and atmospheric conditions drastically. Men and shiny metal-suited beings float up into it and down from it. And, the Bible says God flies in it and displays it so that men will know his power. Would it be strange if someone said such a description of an aerial vehicle sounds like a UFO? It is said that not only was Jesus taken into one, it very clearly says he will return in one along with a whole fleet of them and even goes so far as to tell us which direction the fleet will be appearing from”.

So – it can also suggest that Jesus indeed will return to Earth with a whole division of UFO kind of vehicles

The distinct and deliberate movements of this object show a realistic rather than ethereal nature. This is a solid object flying around above the encampment. It is physically preventing the approach of the Egyptian pursuers. This object can project light in one direction, yet cause darkness in the direction of the Egyptians. Here is the first indication that angels are in control of the craft.

13:21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
A platform, flown by Yhovah, resembling a thunder cloud that glows brightly at night leads the nation of Israel out of Egypt. Cloud = thunder-cloud, Pillar = column or base of column ie, platform, Light = to be luminous. The book of Exodus is where we get the first indication that God uses physical flying objects as a mode of transportation. It is described as a pillar of a cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night. The word pillar is translated from `ammuwd, Pron. am-mood; a column as standing; also a stand, i.e. platform. This means that this could either be a column or a platform that had the appearance of a cloud in the daylight and when the sun went down, it lit up. And it is staying close to the people, in other words hovering. When considered in light of descriptions not yet presented, the platform seems a more logical choice.

Whether day or night, the people respond to the movements of the vehicle.

2 Samuel
Yhovah Rides A Cherub And Flies
22:10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. 11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
The 'thick darkness' under his feet can be rendered as low clouds which ties into the next verse.. Yhovah rides on a 'cherub' and flies on the edge of the wind. This could indicate a smooth, soaring-like flight much like a glider. Wings = extreme edge.

Yhovah's Glowing, Solid, Flying House
22:12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
This appears to be a description of a circular fleet of objects arranged around a main object described as Yhovah’s pavilion or mobile dwelling.

Yhovah Travels The Sky
19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
Yhovah travels from one end of the sky to the other.

God Rides In The Sky And Space
68:33 To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.
Elohiym rides the skies and the envelope of stars.

Yhovah will ascend with a thundercloud like a whirlwind. The speed of his vehicle is swifter than eagles. Horse = rapid flight

Ezekiel
Wheels Ascended1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
Wheels ascend with the devices.

Synchronized Ascension
1:20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 21When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
The wheels lifted when the devices were lifted. All the parts move together.

Ezekiel Ascends

Yhovah takes Ezekiel up and away.
