There are many conspiracy theories and some of them being so ridiculous has brought the image that a conspiracy theory by default is just a nut mind product and has no real facts.

If you look with open mind to the several theories you will find that some of them do seem to be real inspite of media (TV mostly) presenting them as jokes.
Given the fact that most of the media world wide is owned by only 6 people (currently) and probably less in near future (there was 80+ different owners of news agencies).

All info arround the globe are produced by Roiters and Associated Press both own by an interesting bank mogul in US you can understand that TV is not a reliable information source.
They do protect theyr interest ... wouldn't you?

In support for conspiracy theory here is a method of introducing laws and measures that are inacceptable in normal situations but shocking , emotionally impactful events can make people accept them (see 911 The Patriot Act restricting a lot the rights of US citizens, increase enormously the military budget ...)
